**सेंट जॉन कॉलेज, पालघर येथे “जपानी भाषा आणि करिअर मार्ग” विषयावर संवादात्मक मार्गदर्शन सत्र**
विद्यार्थ्यांना जागतिक स्तरावरील संधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यासाठी आणि त्यांच्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय करिअरच्या संधी अधिक व्यापक करण्याच्या उद्देशाने सेंट जॉन कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरिंग अँड मॅनेजमेंट, पालघर येथे ४ मार्च २०२६ रोजी “जपानी भाषा आणि करिअर मार्ग” या विषयावर माहितीपूर्ण संवादात्मक सत्राचे आयोजन करण्यात आले.
हे सत्र इंडो-जपानी रिलेशन्सचे सल्लागार तोमिओ इसोगाई (Tomio Isogai) यांनी मार्गदर्शन स्वरूपात घेतले. त्यांनी अभियांत्रिकी विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी जपानमध्ये उपलब्ध असलेल्या विविध करिअर संधींबाबत महत्त्वपूर्ण माहिती दिली. विशेषतः जपानमधील तंत्रज्ञानाधिष्ठित उद्योगांमध्ये कुशल आणि प्रतिभावान तरुण व्यावसायिकांची वाढती मागणी असल्याचे त्यांनी अधोरेखित केले.
भारतीय विद्यार्थ्यांनी जपानी भाषा आत्मसात केल्यास त्यांच्या रोजगाराच्या संधी मोठ्या प्रमाणात वाढू शकतात, विशेषतः आंतरराष्ट्रीय कंपन्या आणि प्रगत तंत्रज्ञान क्षेत्रात काम करण्याची इच्छा असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ही भाषा अत्यंत उपयुक्त ठरते, असे त्यांनी सांगितले. तसेच जपानमधील व्यावसायिक कार्यसंस्कृती समजून घेणे आणि त्यानुसार स्वतःला जुळवून घेणे हे दीर्घकालीन यशासाठी महत्त्वाचे असल्याचेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.
या सत्रादरम्यान भारत आणि जपान यांच्यातील दीर्घकालीन व विश्वासार्ह भागीदारीवरही प्रकाश टाकण्यात आला. या भागीदारीमुळे दोन्ही देशांमध्ये शिक्षण, रोजगार आणि तांत्रिक सहकार्याच्या अनेक संधी निर्माण झाल्या असल्याचे त्यांनी नमूद केले.
सेंट जॉन कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरिंग अँड मॅनेजमेंट, पालघर येथे जून २०२५ पासून जर्मन, फ्रेंच आणि जपानी अशा परकीय भाषा अभ्यासक्रमांची सुरुवात करण्यात आली असून, विद्यार्थ्यांना जागतिक स्तरावरील अनुभव देणे तसेच प्लेसमेंट आणि करिअर वाढीसाठी नवीन मार्ग खुले करणे हा या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश आहे.
हे सत्र विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी अत्यंत माहितीपूर्ण आणि प्रेरणादायी ठरले असून, आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर करिअर घडवू इच्छिणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांना परकीय भाषा शिकण्याचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करणारे ठरले.

**Interactive Session on Japanese Language and Career Pathways Held at St. John College, Palghar**
In an effort to broaden global opportunities for students and strengthen international career prospects, St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar organized an informative interactive session on “Japanese Language and Career Pathways” on 4 March 2026.
The session was conducted by Mr. Tomio Isogai, Advisor (Indo-Japanese Relations), who shared valuable insights on the growing scope of Japanese language skills for engineering students. He highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available in Japan, particularly in the country’s technology-driven industries, where there is an increasing demand for skilled and talented young professionals.
Mr. Isogai emphasized that learning the Japanese language can significantly enhance employment prospects for Indian students, especially those aspiring to work in international companies and advanced technology sectors. He also explained the importance of understanding Japan’s professional work culture and adapting to it for long-term success.
The speaker further underlined the long-standing and trusted partnership between India and Japan, which has opened multiple avenues for education, employment and technological collaboration between the two countries.
St. John College has been offering foreign language programs such as German, French and Japanese since June 2025, aiming to provide students with global exposure and to expand avenues for placements and career growth.
The session proved to be highly informative and inspiring, motivating students to explore international opportunities and consider learning foreign languages as a valuable skill for building successful global careers.
