Soham Gharat from Sonopant Dandekar College Wins the Prestigious 'Mr. University 2024-25'; Student Shreya Gaikwad Bags Consolation Prize in 'Miss University' Contest
Palghar: Soham Kalpesh Gharat, a shining student of Sonopant Dandekar College (Arts, Commerce & Science), Palghar, has brought immense pride to his institution by winning the coveted ‘Mr. University 2024-25’ title at the Mumbai University Youth Festival. Adding to the celebration, Miss Shreya Gaikwad, also from the same college, secured a consolation prize in the highly competitive ‘Miss University’ contest.
The annual Mumbai University Youth Festival witnessed participation from over 350 colleges and thousands of students across diverse art, personality, and cultural competitions. Rising above tough competition, Soham represented his college in the ‘Jackpot Event’ and impressed judges with his dynamic personality, confident oratory, and standout presence to clinch the prestigious title.
Soham’s exceptional achievement is a testimony to his holistic development, academic dedication, and leadership qualities. While pursuing his studies at Sonopant Dandekar College, he has proven that excellence in extracurricular endeavors goes hand in hand with academic pursuits.
